Green Fish Fry

Ingredients
Fish: ½ kg (any type of fish)
Onion: 1 small
Garlic: 5 cloves
Green Chilli: 5 (can use as per ur tolerance)
Coriander leaves: 4-5 string
Mint leaves: 3 strings (take only the leaves from it)
Curry leaves: 1handfull
Lemon Juice: 3tbsp
Salt: needed
Oil: needed for shallow fry.
Method of Preparation
Clean and slit/cut the fish and wash well. Keep aside.
In a blender, add onion, garlic, green chilli, coriander leaves, mint leaves, curry leaves and salt blend to a smooth paste without adding water. (If u don’t get to a smooth paste by adding water you can add 1tbsp oil while blending)
Add lemon juice to it and mix well.
Take the fish and apply the blended paste on each fish. Coat it well with paste.
Marinate for 1 hour.
Heat a pan and add 2tbsp oil and shallow fry the fish till both sides are cooked well.
Serve hot with rice.
Cook in low flame so that you can get the masala cooked well without losing the green color and the fish will be smooth without being crispy. Some like the crispy version so they can go for that. But I feel we can get the taste of masala only when the fish is soft.
