Idli Fritters

A new recipe trying with left over is really interesting. There was balance some idlis after the breakfast and my son have to get something for his evening tea. If I give the same idli he will not at all be happy. So I thought of making fritters out of it. It is really easy and tasted delicious.
Ingredients
Idlis: 10
Rice Flour: ¼ cup
Besan/ Gram Flour: ¾ cup
Asafetida: ¼ tsp
Chilli powder”:” ½ tsp
Baking powder: ½ tsp
Turmeric powder: a pinch
Salt: needed
Oil: for deep frying
Method of Preparation
Cut the idlis length wise. 1 idli to 4-5 pieces). Keep aside.
In a bowl, add rice flour, besan, chilli powder, asafetida, turmeric powder, baking powder and salt.
Add some water to it to make a thick batter. (Consistency: should coat the batter on the idli pieces well)
Heat oil in a pan.
Dip each idli pieces in the batter and deep fry until both sides becomes golden brown color.
